As a grammarian, I would say both are correct, depending on whether you're saying the table belongs to the Judges or comprises the Critics. Consistency would be nice, though.
MoHub said it more artfully than I would have: Maybe Tom and the other judges bring their own table, and they actually own it. Critics, of course, except everything to be provided for them, so it is a merely a collection of critics on a loaned table.

I disagree with MoHub. I think because they are sitting at an actual table, the phrase refers to the judges' table, otherwise the phrase would be judging table or table of judges.
Anyway, I would never disagree with our genial host.
